Hi... Again. I didn't mean to post that last message. I wasn't done yet  Can you tell I'm not overly technologically inclined. Oh, well I'm sure I'll figure this out soon enough.
Anyway, let me introduce myself. I am 23 and a grad student. I was ana for several years. Two years ago I was hospitalized for several months and got treatment. I was doing super well (i.e. in recovery) until recently. I'm no where near as sick as I was and do NOT want to go there again. I have made a promise to myself to dedicate myself to getting better (again). I don't have anyone in my life that I can talk to about my ED because they all think that I am fine and I do not want to worry them. So, I decided to use this board to let post how I am doing and hopefully meet some other people who are also dedicated to recovery. So we can insire each other.
K... sorry that this is so long but here's how things are right now... Sunday I promised myself that I would stop purging. I have now gone 2 days and am still going strong!!

Faith~ I think that it is wonderful that you have decided to try and fight off you rediscovered eating disorder. In my experience the hardest part is not having anyone to talk to. Like you I "recovered" only to relapse. I was so scared to tell anyone because I was afraid they would think I let them down... its hard to pretend you are okay when you are so scared of what is happening. I hope that you will continue to update us on your progress and know that there are people out there who are willing to listen and who understand. Good luck! -shadow

I just want to say a thank-you to Faith  It is because of her that I decided to put a message board on my site. I hope this will be a great tool for us to use in discusing ideas and support! Nina, you are the best, sweetie!

in the end of the day, what all people want is compassion, understanding, and love..
all of you who post here, you are brave strong special people..
All i can do is give you a hug, and a prayer, that you will have confidence and happiness to face each day, without fear, and have a total recovery...
take each day as it comes... dont be afraid, be strong..
slowly you will get thrugh, have faith in yourself...

Hugbears... We welcome any comments you may have. You do not have to have an eating disorder to know what its like to struggle with something hard in your life. Thank-you for your posts and sweet comments. I hope you stick around
